Mission:

Providing high standards of service for passengers, baggage, cargo and mail.

        The Department of Transportation is a structural subdivision of JSC “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan”.

        The Department’s activities are guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other regulatory legal acts.

        The purpose of the department is to control the quality of provided service for passengers, cargo, mail and baggage operations, as well as control of documentation, that regulate the rules of transportation.

Main functions:

  • Control for compliance with passenger and airport service standards. (Check-in area, boarding area, departure and arrival areas)
  • Control over the baggage, cargo and mail operations (Labeling, storage, priority baggage claim)
  • Control over PRM’s quality service requirements fulfillment at Kazahkstan airports.
  • Control over guide materials (ground handling manual, SLA - service level agreement)
  • Monitoring staff qualifications (certificates, licenses and employee training)

Tasks:

  • Service development accordance with leading international standards
  • Implementation of advanced and innovative technologies in the field of passenger service (self-check-in, baggage check-in, mobile applications)
  • High-quality information equipment in the passenger terminal

The Department of Transportation is pleased to cooperate in developing a culture and quality of service for passengers, mail, cargo and baggage both with airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with Kazakhstan and International airlines operating in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
